Description

Temporary/Seasonal Farm work: 7/20/10 - 12/20/10 40-hr. /wk 8 hours Monday- Friday. Housings for non-commuter. Workers 3/4 workday guarantee, transportation reimbursement, employer provides tools/equipment and weather gear. Work in all weather conditions. Apply direct to local One Stop Career Center. Duties: planting, cultivates, and harvest vegetables, fruits, working as crew member. Dump seeds into hopper of planter towed by tractor. May operate farm equipment, plant roots and bulbs. Cover plants with plastic to prevent frost damage. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include transplanting seedlings using hand transplanter. Closes ties leaves over bunches. picks,cut,pull and lift crop to harvest them. Cutting and prunning trees, and bunching brush. 1 month experience required in duties listed.
